ABOUT US
With a burning desire for God's people, we want to reach the lost at all cost. We believe in partnering with people of all faiths, in order to bring change in personal lives, as well as impact our community. Our ministry works hard to show all generations the love of God, as well as economic growth, building strong families, ownership and development.
OUR VISION
In 2015, New Liberty and Praise Services, Inc. began serving communities in Georgia, Alabama and Michigan and has continued service works and efforts through the present. As a 501(c)(3)Nonprofit entity, New Liberty and Praise Services, Inc., has a primary focus and goals that are to provide critical services that contribute to economic stability through community development, advocacy and training along with resources that afford access to nutrition benefits for any of our disadvantaged within the communities that we serve. We need to expand the notion of support to include capacity-building objectives, skills-based and economic development creation. In an era of growing needs and shrinking resources, we feel compelled and driven to do even more, placing less strain on families’ already limited resources. Our efforts tend to focus on building and expanding programs. It is with this kind of support that we offer to strengthen our operations, to enable delivery of services more effectively and ultimately to help create a strong economy that is good for all sectors. As we think about our responsibility to the communities that we support, we pride ourselves on being creative and resourceful to engage with individuals and make the connections that are often needed to support our mission.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
New Liberty seeks to acquire property through purchases, leases or other approved means to conduct a massive amount of services that we provide. The security of place and financial consistency that comes with ownership can allow our organization to spread its wings and explore ways to deepen our impact. Buying or constructing a building is a huge decision for us to make, but for our organization seeking for greater stability and wanting to deepen our ties to our community, it’s a challenge worth looking into. Those acquisitions will strengthen the communities in other important ways. Our organization is essentially looked upon as the voice of the people that we serve. Thanks to a combination of strong community relationships and intimate local knowledge, we often understand better than anyone else the communities’ needs and the best ways to meet them. Our well- resourced nonprofit should be connected to the decision-making infrastructure in our communities to catalyze growth and opportunity.
ECONOMIC GROWTH
In addition, it is critical that our organization be included in policy-making discussions so that economic growth is inclusive in our communities that we deliver to. We will look to the business sector to use its convening power and networks to facilitate introductions and opportunities to ensure that we have the abilities to participate in conversations about addressing our community challenges. In doing so, we help to make sure that we all benefit from the expertise and understanding the strength that our organization’s leadership can bring to the table. Increasing our commitment to building the capacity of our community-based efforts and strengthening networks with peer institutions, civic leaders, elected officials and other stakeholders who help shape the policies that directly impact the communities we serve. We believe that our robust nonprofit sector is essential for a strong community and is committed to using our intellectual and human capital, as well as dollars, to help strengthen the sector. In addition, going through the development process can increase attention to our organization through a capital campaign and engagement with other partners, like government and community development organizations. Even though it’s a big lift to go through rehabbing or building a property, it can reposition our organization within our community. Increased Visibility - when we, as a nonprofit own our buildings, it increases the opportunity to brand the space in alignment with our mission. This branding and
visibility can attract new clients, members, or patrons, as well as new financial support. This permanent
home creates a sense of place for our organization and is an anchor for our constituency.
